My Dad was in the rehab center after knee replacement. He got terrible service from the staff/nurses/therapists. Very unprofessional. Very disrespectful, and rude staff. The facility is sub par at best... (Broken furniture, cords ran across the floor, outdated equipment, ect...) I DO NOT recommend the place for anything!! Within one week, he transferred to a different rehab center/hospital. The staff of this place should be ashamed of themselves, and are very lucky I didn't "handle it myself"!

I have never had so many problems than I've had here. They have been rude to my mother they have been rude to me on the phone and won't give their name even when you ask for it. I actually had a nurse hang up on me because I kept asking her name. I had told them for 2 weeks that my mom didn't look well. They wouldn't listen to me my mom almost died. They called me at 5 am to tell me she's unresponsive and they sent her to hospital. Well she had a UTI AND WENT SEPTIC UNDER THEIR CARE AND HAD A HEART ATTACK. What does skilled nursing mean? And they will not help you with insurance issues. I have never had a rehab facility tell me to File for an extension because she wasn't strong enough to come home when her legs are 3 times bigger than when she came to the rehab and couldn't pick them up To get into bed. I could go on and on that's just the tip of the iceberg So GOODLUCK people I'll say a prayer for your family members.its just very sad and disheartening

We wish to thank Henry Ford Village for your generosity in hosting the location for our December program "Starting or Jump-Starting a Planned Giving Program." Our members always enjoy attending a program in the Great Lakes Dining room -- which is always so beautifully decorated for the holidays. Lunch was delicious and your staff are all courteous and quite helpful. Lori B. Angel, Executive Director Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan

The staff are courteous and responsive to my father's requests. The food is great and there are a lot of activities and clubs to participate in. Residents have been welcoming and friendly.

During orientation, I fell ill with food poisoning, and was unable to make it to one day of orientation, and notified staff immediately of my illness. The next day my symptoms improved, and naturally I returned to orientation. After waiting 45 minutes (for the late instructor) I was called out of orientation, and told "we have a strict attendance policy, please turn over your ID". I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that a company, which prides itself in empathy and humanity, could treat a new staff member so inhumanely. The entire process was unprofessional and disrespectful. There were so many obstacles I was burdened with during the hiring process, however, I completed each task efficiently as requested; as I was originally proud to say that I was soon to be part of a team that cares for the most important class of society. Now, I am glad to have no part of this industry that treats their employees like robots. If, as a new staff member, I am disregarded like late trash on garbage day, how are the patients treated?
