About Ranshaw AFC Facility
Ranshaw AFC is an excellent choice for those who seek superb care at rates far below the average AFC. Their motto is "Our bottom line is the number of lives helped; no the number of dollars held".
Located approximately 20 minutes east of Big Rapids, MI, Ranshaw's AFC offers its Residents a relaxed life in a country setting. Home cooked meals are served daily, and each and every Resident is cared for with dignity and respect,
The home has been owned and operated for nearly 50 years and is proud to have served over 60 residents to date. It is a family run business that is often visited by members of the 5 generations of Ranshaw's currently living in the area.
The mission of Ranshaw AFC is to provide its Residents with superb care so that each Resident can focus on the challenges of:
-Developing life skills
-Enjoying life despite adversities
-Prolonging current level of independence
While the atmosphere is relaxing, the staff encourage Residents to remain active and engaged. Residents often take walks, visit with friends, and attend church. Even though laundry, meals, and cleaning are taken care of by the staff, Residents often volunteer to help out with housework; not out of necessity, but simply to contribute to the home just as they did with their own families.
Despite being away from their loved ones, Residents always feel at home.
