Please do not place your loved one in this facility if they lack mobility or they weigh over 150 pounds. My mom was placed here for rehab during radiation treatments because they also provided transportation. My mom would have to wait so long for someone to help her to the bathroom that she eventually resorted to wearing diapers. My mom had a fall early on and the staff told her they wouldn't help her get up and that she would have to do it herself. She complained about this directly to the leadership and the administrator seemed surprised that my mom had "high" expectations for her health and care. My mom was there for less than two weeks and developed bed sores and open wounds on her body. She would call her call button and no one would come. When she truly needed help, everyone would suddenly "disappear." After she was transported to the Oncologist she had to wait over two hours to get back into her bed. I'm planning to contact the senior leadership at Lutheran Senior Services and will be following up with the board of directors. This should not happen to anyone and allowing our mom to be there was the worst mistake we have ever made.

My father stayed here after a bad fall. The nurses were great and therapy was awesome getting him back to being able to go home. They were slightly understaffed so the wait to see an aide took longer but they were nice.

My dad had knee replacement surgery. We needed a nice place for him to rehab for about 3 weeks max. We placed him at this facility. The grounds and the buildings are beautiful but don't be fooled. His pain medication never seemed to make it to him although it was "checked out." The nurse would routinely drop his pills off and leave, not sticking around to see if he swallowed them, dropped them (which he did do more than once as I found them on the floor) or worse yet, choke. If he asked for ANYTHING, a cup of water, help to go to the bathroom, for a blanket no one responded. I witnessed this first hand many times as I would visit twice daily. The aides are horrendous at best. Rude, uncaring, unresponsive and sneaky. My dad would have to wait for 2+ hours to go to the bathroom and keep in mind, he couldnt walk yet. And this is really just the tip of the iceberg. To be fair, the physical therapy staff was very good and so was the social worker who we expressed our concerns to. After 1 week I feared that the abysmal care would create a bigger problem health wise so we moved him to my sisters house and everyone in the family did their best to take care of him and make him comfortable. I would suggest you not bring your relative here. They truly have serious staffing issues that are not immediately apparent until you spend an evening there.

Worked at this Facility through Agency & I would NOT recommend you send your loved ones here. Not to mention the Aides lied on me & told the Supervisor that I was Neglecting my Residents just to get me fired & put on the DNR list. & I just now realized from previous reviews that they PLOTTED against me to get me put out the Facility. I would NOT RECOMMEND you work or send your loved ones to this Facility Management is VERY POOR ! They rather listen to the Lies from other aides & be short of Staff rather than hear the truth ..
