Cant wait for my father in law to get out of this place. Its a depressing DUMP the staff has no compassion. Rooms dont have phones and They pretend to not know his name so they dont have to bring him to the phone. Rude as hell. Real respectful way to treat our veterans huh...someone please take this place over or shut it down!

I take exception to the review submitted 4 years ago by someone not having the backbone to identify themselves other than as "A Google User." I have been the administrator of Ozark Mountain the past 3 & a half years. Following 12.5 years as social service/admissions director in 2 different area facilities, I would put the caring & competency of OMRH staff against both of my former facilities any day. And the facility is NEVER "filthy." The staff do an amazing job at what is often thankless duties--by both the residents they care for & their families. Are we perfect? No. But no one is...nor is any facility because we're human & we make mistakes. I'm sorry that particular writer had a bad experience & wish them well wherever they are.

95 % of staff grossly incompetent. About 1/4 are intentionally evil. A lot of them so lazy they probably haven't broken wind since 1978! Administrative staff have history of openly trying to sabotage underlings' efforts to further their formal education. At least one shift have a history of ganging up on new employees to the point of vandalizing the victim's car and sending hate notes to the person their very young immediate family member had just died of leukemia, making cruel comments about the deceased.I've seen them send new people home in tears.I've seen countless new people only stay one day. Building is consistently filthy. Huge deal is made out of who is a "Department Head" and who isn't.One problem is that by this logic, on weekends they are putting the head housekeeper, the head maintenance man or the head activities organizer " In charge" of overseeing not only the RN in the building, but any other licensed professionals in the building such as physical therapists who are often there on weekends, and all of the Licensed Vocational Nurses on duty in the building (IF they're in the building. The LPN's are more likely all outside in an outbuilding smoking at the same time.) Additionally too many of the group who have been designated a "Department Head" including the Activities Director who is a CNA will sit around and socialize while call lights are going crazy, completely ignoring the call lights, unless they're telling a member of the nursing staff who is already doing 25 things to answer the lights, as the "Department Heads" continue to goof off. The company has a long history of going through spells where they bully and intimidate certain employees into timing out and then returning to their post to work longer off the clock and "under the table" to do their documentation. Patient privacy laws mean absolutely nothing here.If there's a change in a patient's condition you'll hear the housekeepers loudly telling each other about it.If a resident gets sent out the nursing staff will be yelling back and forth to the dietary staff over the crowded dining room, filling them in on the juicy details about that resident's personal private medical information. RUN away from this place!! As a former employee I am haunted by frequent nightmares about the far too many instances of atrocious "patient care" and the horrible ganging up on and bullying of certain staff members who were just doing their jobs as well as they knew how. It's an attractive building-or would be if they'd clean it up.And they have some good people working there.Who knows what they're thinking.
