You'll sleep soundly at night knowing your resident will have quick care in the case of an emergency.. but pretty well negligent care in all other areas. I was a former employee who left on okay terms. The dietary department offers very little for your family member. And will absolutely cringe when being forced to help a person follow their therapeutic diet. The place has served sugared drinks to highly diabetic folk for as long as I had worked there. Have heard coworkers say things like that they hope the resident chokes and dies, the nurses give whoever whatever just so they don't complain. The place has a do what you want at home as long as it doesn't effect your work outlook on drug use. Leading to instances of people using illicit drugs on the job. (She was in good with the supervisor and didn't even get so much as a slap on the wrist for spending two hours in a car smoking with her friend) My time at Marymount wasn't too pleasurable, and I'm nearly positive your family member's won't be either. Please don't send them here if there are other options, but if there is no other option Marymount probably will be sufficient to make sure their very very basic medical needs are met.
