My wife recently fell and broke her hip and had it replaced. We chose Lakeside because it was close to home and she wanted to see the Peacocks. Well it was the best decision we could have made. The staff was fantastic and the facility and grounds were beautiful, well kept and super clean. My wife said she felt like she was in a Celebrity resort. They took care of her every want and need. I was there everyday to check on her and every time I went she was happier than the last. It gives you piece of mind knowing that the most important person in your life is being treated that way. Thank you to EVERYONE involved in my wife's recovery. You all will have a special place in my wife and I's heart.

My daddy was in Lakeview Nursing Center in 2009 and I may be a little late getting this review typed, but I have to say, he had the absolute best care that I could ask for before he passed on May 6, 2009. The nurses and his doctor called me weekly to let me know how he was doing. If his meds were changed, I received a call from the staff. They never failed to ask how I was doing as well. Being 6 hours away, it was very comforting knowing that he was being to well cared for in his final days. This is by far the best nursing facility on the Coast. Loved the peacocks, too! Thank you Lakeview for making my father's transition to heaven the best that it could be.

They let my grandpa fall out his wheelchair and now he has bruises on his face and neck. Thought they were good but this changed my whole perspective!!

My mom broke her hip & has been in this facility for 7 weeks. I visit her frequently and every time I go, I am greeted with a smile by all of the staff. It just seems to be a "happy" place, unlike other nursing homes I have visited. There are daily activities, including bingo, which my mom has come to love. The food is very tasty and nutritious. They bring around a beverage cart every afternoon and offer a variety of drinks for patients/residents. There are peacocks on site which mom loves to watch. There are also llamas right next door. It is a very relaxing atmosphere even for the visitors.
