Collingswood Manor allowed me to live on the Assisted Living floor with my husband who had Alzheimer's Disease. I will be forever grateful to that community for enabling me to be with him for the final years of his life. Other communities wanted us in separate apartments. I watched on a daily basis how they worked together for everyone, with care and professionalism! I was able to leave him for short periods of time knowing that he trusted these " new friends " who were caring for him. I was trained to be a volunteer so that I could give back a little of what I was given. The staff became our friends. I give high praise to that Very Special Place!!!!

I was never worried leaving my mom at Collingswood Manor. All of the aides who cared for her were kind and sincere. We loved her assisted living apartment and when she needed more care she was able to get that on the 5th floor. My only regret is that she passed away before the new memory care area opened. I would recommend Collingswood Manor to anyone searching for a high quality facility for their loved one.

We found out on Friday that my father needed to be discharged from the hospital into a care facility such as this one on Monday. My mother went in on Saturday to tour this facilit since we had to find somewhere by Monday for him to be discharged to. The incredibly rude and arrogant administrator told my mother that even if they did have room for my father, they wouldn't take him because she came in to tour the facility without an appointment. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This lady should be fired for her horrifically callus attitude!! I would be weary with people like her working here to allow your loved ones to stay here! If they're this uncaring, imagine how they treat the patients when you're not around.

My father was a resident here for eight years. Sadly,he passed away this past October. This facility meant what they promised. His care was stellar and he and our family felt true compassion and gentle kindness when his time on this earth was finished. He was promised care until the end of his life.........even if the money"ran out". That promise was fulfilled by the circle of care fund, as he did outlive his wealth. Everyone at the Collingswood campus was wonderful to him and to me as his power of attorney. He was frightened to give up his home and financial independence as anyone would be. I was anxious also assuming the role of power of attorney. With much prayer and contemplation, it turned out to be the best decision ever made. My father's wonderful quality of life was a joy and an honor to witness in his latter years. Thank you, each and every one of you for becoming part of his and our family. With love and deepest gratithde. Patti Venuto daughter of Jack Geigelman apt.106
