Unfortunately, I have three dear friends who live here and I so wish I could get all of them out! On the surface, it appears to be an ok place. And on the phone they seem so friendly, but not once you are there! It's a totally different place than represented. Some reality - they go thru cooks constantly. The food is repetitive, mediocre, and bad leftover creations. (Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners are good when the families are there, probably brought in from an outside source.) They are very short staffed and have a very high turnover rate of aides, nurses and generally staff. Tom is the one true exception - a wonderful, sweet gentleman. The outdoor lighting is an accident waiting to happen for visitors and residents. Horrible! FYI, none of those yard lights work! There are no cameras, so a resident could fall, be robbed or worse while out front and they would not know or have a record of the incident. The activities are extremely limited and are subpar from other similar homes in the area. The ones they do have are not brain stimulating. One summer the air-conditioning was out and took 5-6 weeks to be replaced. The daily temp on that wing reached 82deg+. Last year the kitchen was down for over a month, so they served sandwiches and brought in outdoor pizza, etc. Now the residents tell me a former McDonald's employee is their 'chef'. When these residents complain, they are not acknowledged and changes never come. Like I said, I'd love to rescue my friends! Think twice before placing a loved one here.

My family has found that this facility works hard every day to provide helpful and quality service to meet ALL of the individual needs. Quite a task.

Poor, very unskilled in employee management. Many people feel uncomfortable around the area and are treated with disrespect. Should be unacceptable fo management to run things that way
