Worst place to work. If you're new and still on the probationary period and state comes in to inspect the facility. If anything is wrong near your work area you will get blamed for it and fired on the spot. I don't recommend anyone working here. Most of the staff you work with are down right rude and you won't make enough money to buy your kids food. These are complaints I got frequently from my wife and I have seen for myself. If I could leave less than one star I would.

As a RN with extensive long term, dementia and skilled nursing experience I am very pleased with the knowledge and care of my mother who was recently placed at the Laurels after a CVA with other complications. The nurse I've had experience with is named Betty. Living in Maine and attempting to help direct my sister who is local has been an exceptional challenge. Betty has allowed me to feel that everything possible is being done for a difficult situation. Cudos to her and the supportive staff at this facility.
