Our mom has been at Arden Courts of Westlake for just over a year. During this time, the care she has received has been outstanding. From the administrative front office to caregivers, the attentiveness to quality resident care is excellent. Our mom is content, happy and very well cared for. Prior to committing to Arden Court, we researched several Memory Care facilities and we definitely made the right choice.

Arden Court of Westlake has been amazing for the past couple years that my grandmother has been there, they have gone above and beyond to ensure all her needs were met or exceeded. Whether it was helping with getting Hospice setup or providing extra support when her health began to decline. My mother was there several times a week and had a great relationship with the Staff in charge of my grandmother's care, additionally when I would visit the Staff knew exactly who I was and made sure my visit was upbeat and positive. We would spend time in the Family Room or the Dining Room with the other residents laughing and sharing stories. Sadly, we had to move my grandmother to a Facility that provided more Progressive Care as her health has declined. If I'm ever in need of an Assisted Living Facility in the future I would definitely look to Arden Courts of Westlake 1st! Thank you Arden Staff for your kindness and professionalism while my grandmother was there.

After a broken knee cap and then a hip with no explanation my family decide to move my 90 year old grandmother out. When we did I was assured that some personal items would be left at the front desk for me to pick up. I went there on a Sunday evening and was allowed in to retrieve my items. Nobody had a clue where they are so they asked the person in charge Robin. You would think she would be more than helpful working with retired folks. I think she worked harder at having me come back another day to not inconvenience herself. I explained I just drove an hour and I was not coming back again as I was here now and should be able to retrieve my items. She was bothered and kept saying I have no idea and I should just come back during the day. I was more than forward that I really needed her to call her person that could help me. She says she did and she comes back with now that my family member is no longer here I need to leave. 9 k a month for over two years and this rude ungrateful so called care giver is a perfect example why it was best our 90 year old family member is now someplace else where they actually care about her well being. I am so upset and disappointed by the treatment by Robin she was as unhelpful and just not friendly in any way. Unprofessional! At least fake it make me feel like you care it was clear she wanted me out of there. So here is your 1 star, if your reading this move to the next place because clearly it is not money well spent.
