I have lived at Wood River Village for almost 2 years now and the service is excellent. The staff are so friendly & helpful. The food is very good and I don't have to cook it or clean up afterwards. I have met many residents here that I can now call great friends. My family and I are happy I made this move!

As long as a person can be remain in their apartment and live independently it's a great place to live! however, should you need personal care, personal care is not what you will find. it is dark, disorienting, waiting for an hour for help and being degraded for day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute is horrible! my mother lives there and I would not recommend it due to its personal care facilities. do not believe that your family members are being cared for in personal care. They are being watched and not getting the personal care that they really need. it's horrible! Falling problem? You need to be kept in PC! HOWEVER, mom fell more often in PC than at home!
