My husband & I moved in 9 months ago. Our apartment is so spacious & bright, totally up to date. Everyone here at Riddle Village is so totally welcoming and friendly to us from day one. There are a lot of residents here. Everyone wants to meet us & know our names. Remembering names can be a real challenge but our faces aren't forgotten. We are continually asked to dine with others. Besides this friendliness, there are lots of activities, trips, movies, exercise classes, speakers, great stage entertainers to name a few. We are so glad to have chosen RV. We love it here.

I went to visit my grandmother in June from out of state to find her spending $$$$ every month to live in a dirty "nursing home", where the staff spends a majority of their time sitting on their butts talking to each other or on their phones. There was a wheelchair in her room that was not hers with feces on it, the AC wasn't working properly and it was 78 in the room, her roommate was waiting for over 5 minutes for a nurse to help her in the bathroom, and all the residents are parked in their wheel chairs at the tv asleep instead of getting fresh air outside or doing activities so the nurses can sit down and do nothing. My grandmother told me that she called to get help using the bathroom and the nurse told her to do it herself. She also has gone days without having her hearing aides charged. What a disgrace! It is not my decision to keep her there and I would move her immediately if it were.

I have been at Riddle Village since May 2017, and am convinced, after having researched most retirement and/or life care communities in the area, that I made the right decision; it is a lovely facility and I love my apartment! Conveniently located to the town of Media, staff is pleasant and helpful, food is very good, size is just right (not too big) which enables one to meet and make new friends easily, residents are friendly and welcoming, there are many activities for fitness or fun on campus, and great trips offered to suit anyone's interest. In summary, Riddle Village is a great place to live, and to have peace of mind knowing I will be cared for if/when needed; a gift to my son!

It is a lovely facility. The ambience is wonderful inside. However, I wish there were walking trails and a nicer entrance from the outside. There does not seem to be much vibrancy amongst the residents. The furnishings in the common areas are upscale and beautiful.

I have been an employee at Riddle Village for 21 years and have to say it has been a great place to work. I enjoy the relationships I have built with the residents over the years and management does a great job trying to make Riddle Village an enjoyable place to work. I think so highly of the Village that I am always eager to show it off to family and friends and recommend Riddle Village as a great place to live!
