A very bad place to work. Especially in the memory care unit. Some Ras and supervisors are hateful and mean to the residents. Memory care coordinator does not know what she is doing. She cusses in front of the residents. And also ignores them. And all other Lpns that work back there are awful to residents except for Brenda. She is average with them. The residents rooms smell very bad and poop in the closets. Rooms are never cleaned. Housekeepers don't do nothing either. The wellness director Becky hires whatever walks in the door that should explain why the residents are not being took care of. Also fall risk residents are left in the dining room in memory care and the poor residents end up falling in floor. The sweet residents and families deserve much much better than that place. Anita needs to hire very good and nice kind hearted people that knows how to treat staff and residents and how to be a supervisor. Wow!! Wake up!!!! If not then perhaps Elmcroft needs new administration.

I have known several people who have worked here and from what I've heard, the pay isn't great and so I don't think the care is what you would expect for the cost that these places are. But, that's hearsay. There's good and bad everywhere.. However, I know for a fact personally that the residents of the Alzheimer's facility there wander away from their rooms and even off the premises quite a bit. I've been at a family members home in the neighborhood and witnessed it many times. Have even had to call the facility and notify them that someone they care for was missing. Just food for thought. I would probably rob a bank before I would put my loved one in any "assisted living" home but I understand some people have no choice. Or just dont have the balls and heart that i do. Anywho- I suppose for second hand caring, it's definitely better than some of the others I've been to in the area. 3 stars for average.

Probably best known for the good times had there by all, the branch in Bristol, TN should lead the way and provide the best example for all of the others to follow. Miss Kay provides the leadership by example and issuing instructions to a well trained and disciplined staff of maintenance men, housekeepers, RA'S, LPN'S,chefs and kitchen personnel! The theme or mood set by Miss Kay is one of cordiality and politeness mixed with a deep feeling of understanding of the client's needs and problems. There is an air of relaxed humor and lightheartedness throughout the facility that does not preclude the air of competence comparable to an institution of much greater cost and expense.
