I want to start by saying how lucky we are to have come across The Bridges, my mom used to stay in an Assisting Living place in Pharr, TX and it was very stressful for me to worry on a daily basis if they were taking her down for breakfast lunch and dinner on time. The supervision there always trying to look for ways to increase the rent for my mother in evaluations with repetitive questions that always ended up hiking the price, that's when we decided to move my mom here at The Bridges. She's been here for 3 months now and her health totally changed for the better. The people here are so unique and kind starting from the Director and Owner, Mr. John Beaman. He is a very straight forward person who helped my mom with the move by sending a moving truck making it effortless and seamless, making my mom adapting to the new place with no problems. What I've noticed from the start is how careful they are organizing my mother's medication making sure that she takes them at the right time with a correct dose and also how they go above and beyond in getting to know the residents like what are their favorite foods, their special diets, their likes and dislikes, and all the activities they offer have made my mom to be in an active mode again and with the opening of the new wing which houses the highest level of safety and high-tech entertainment for the residents. I am so proud to see my mom painting, singing and learning how to play instruments along with the other residents. All this has helped me in taking away all the stress and really contributed in a positive way to my health because I don't have to worry anymore if my mom is going to be treated in the best way possible. Also, the training that the Personnel receive makes all the difference in the world. Priscilla, the Manager always with a smile and willing to help in any way possible making sure that the schedules are met and that the residents follow their special diets and they are well taken care of. The Med aids are always making sure that my mother takes her medication on time and with correct dose. Elva, is one of the Med aids, she has been in this facility for years and is such a professional and caring person along with Julissa, the other Med aid. I would also like to mention about the caregivers how organized and caring they are with the residents, always taking the time in getting to know them and watching over them, thus providing them with a more personalized way of caregiving and always with a smile. They also have a hairstylist and they do my mom's nails so now my mother looks prettier and happier than ever. Me and my brother visit our mother almost on a daily basis, so we get to see her progress and that gives us a peace of mind that my mother is in the best and safest place possible that she can be in. Because my brother and I remember how our mother always gave us the best care that she could give us and now it's time for us to do the same. I want to thank all the people who work at The Bridges for making a huge and positive change in our lives. I write this review in hopes to help other families to find the best place possible for their loved ones.

Firstly I would like to share that my experience with the management has been nothing but outstanding! The staff is EXCELLENT ! I have first hand seen how kind and caring the staff are with the patients. My father has memory issues that will not get better but I have seen him actively participate in the activities . His attitude has improved as well as my peace of mind. He is safe, well cared for, eats well, and genuinely happy I am very relieved that he is a resident of such a unique place I greatly express my thanks and appreciation to the Management and Staff.

This is a truly , Secured, Caring, Respectful, and affordable place for my mother to live in, My mother's state of mind and overall health has greatly improved ever since she moved there, They offer so many activities, Programs, Salon ,Trips to keep them busy that she never has a boring day, I can't say enough of great things of the people that work there Starting with the director and owner Mr. John Beaman always straight foward and willing to hear people's concerns and questions , Prisila the manager is alway there ready to help in any way possible, the care givers are the nicest people you can imagine all in general always with a smile, And the Medaids always checking on my mom round the clock and making sure she's taking the correct Meds at the correct time ,,,,,, And with the opening of the new wing built with the latest technology just make's it the perfect place,, We moved my mother from another facility in Pharr, And they were all about elevating the cost of the rent for whatever reason they could come up with ,,With "EVALUATIONS" that were targeted in finding ways to increase the price,, My sister and I Visit my mother almost on a daily basis so we get to know the people working there and residents so this review is comming from someone who has really observed in great detail the facility,,, I hope this could help other people in finding a great place for their love ones,, 120% Recomended !!
