This is an older style facility. Staff is great. I would definitely recommend this facility to others. Pine tree may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially if you are looking for high class, but the care they give to residents is great. The Cottage is very homey. It's a great place for loved ones who have Alzheimer's or Dementia. The staff have years of experience there. If you have any questions please call the office and speak with the Administrator Jamie or the Assistant Stacy they are always willing to help. Please don't take these negative reviews to heart. Come see the place yourself. Some people are just angry and post negativity as retaliation. You can not make everyone happy.

The assisted living apartments smell like mold, there are an abundance of spider in every room, no one comes in to clean only to take out trash (had to sweep and mop and kill spiders), people were moved due to bed bug infestation and their property wasn't returned, maintenance doesn't show up, floors are toren and in some places black tape to hold it down, As for the cottage, completely under staffed which means no one gets the care they need and the place is a mess, pretty sure the air conditioning isn't charged (at least 80 degrees), things come up missing... I wouldn't recommend this place. It may be cheap but if you care about the quality of life of your loved one don't put them here. I have been asked numerous time to get them out of there. They are miserable!!!!

The Cottage is filthy! It is completely obvious when they are expecting the State to arrive and inspect the facilities. There wouldn't be the smell of urine as soon as you walk in the door, the floors were clean and additional staff were present. What would happen if the State showed up unannounced! You can expect a high turnover of staff, severely under staffed; cold distasteful food, (temperature and storage of food a health risk), unhealthy sugary snacks, unsanitary dish washing and kitchen area; rooms, common areas and staff areas very dirty and unkept; no personal hand washing between handling undomesticated animals (I cannot stress enough regarding the wild cats and wild rabbits) and patients and foods; water and other spills causing safety hazards; lack of housekeeping, no staff training in an emergency situation, lack of their own personal hygiene (bathing, showering, hair washing); little to NO air conditioning; lack of quality of care, mistreatment in the form of no treatment; patients screaming in chairs; lost and unrecovered personal items on a weekly basis; patients wandering taking items from another's room; inappropriate behavior of a physical nature between patients which can be halted if staff sat among patients rather than huddled in the office area; grounds unkept and overgrown; no security of the facilities, parking lot completely unlit; no repairs of any kind, mold and black mold growth in air conditioning registers, around sprinkler heads and obviously notated as painted over. Main office unstaffed with calls not returned too numerous to count, unless it's time to make a payment. No personal responsibility. Owner has no regard for doing things well. It should be harshly fined or closed. These areas and many others have been an ongoing dialogue.

The elevator has been out of service perhaps 3 to 4 times in the past 4 weeks. There are a number of physical impaired residents that are dependant on walkers. It is a safety factor of them possibly falling going up or down stairs. Three informed me they have begged for downstairs apts to no avail! The staff member that rudely greeted the family member giving an earlier review, if she is referring to the one , we have to deal with her each and every time we approach her!!! Many residents come away from the office commenting they wander if he or she has done to cause this woman to be angry!!!

Very poor facility would not recommend for a family member to be placed here they do not watch over patients they miss treat them and I always hear about patient being miss treated and things being stolen out of their own home from nurses and maintenance that work inside of the building . Also hear complaints about residents living inside the assisted living home that do not get treated to breakfast every morning they open breakfast really early in the morning and close really early in the morning there for all patients do not get the opportunity to have a proper nutritious breakfast as well as other meals. Really hope and wish that this place goes under investigation really soon they need to take care of their patients with better love and compassion I really do hope that soon in the future someone Can't take on full responsibility of really taking care of these families
