Harbour Pointe has been a wonderful option for my mother and stepfather. The apartments and facilities are quite nice, and the staff provides top notch care for its senior residents. The facility's director, Mandi, and the rest of the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure my mother and stepfather are well cared for and happy. Thank you Harbour Pointe. Dave

After two years of frequent visits most every week, I could write a long narrative about Harbour Point. For now I'll cover this week and I'll write about past experiences later. It's been a rough and disappointing week, like most. The scheduled dinner for Sunday May 20th was Roast Beef au Jus. Instead they offered Pot Roast. Under staffing of dining servers made life difficult. Servers who did show up had twice the work and were not happy or pleasant. Lunches usually have two options, but on May 26th, the lunch menu offered only hot dogs. Shortages of various basic stock is routine. For example they were out of sour cream for baked potatoes. Our server was totally unempathetic and seemed insensitive to resident's disappointment. Facilities continue to show neglect. Although they may be vacuuming carpets weekly, pervasive carpet grime is common since it's been months since the last carpet cleaning (shampoo). This week marks five months since a car smashed into the building's big street corner sign, which has not been repaired. A temporary band aid sign covers some of the damage. The owners are Capitol Seniors Housing in Washington D.C. They claim to provide "comfortable, safe, state-of-the-art communities" and have also boasted about very high rate of return for investors. I don't doubt they are meeting their investor goals, but it is at the expense of the residents they serve.

Mother in law lives there. First rate facility and staff. It's always spotless and she's treated like a queen.

Terrible place. DON'T have any of your family members or loved ones here. All they care about is your money. The Office Manager her name is Brandy she is so rude and yelled at my 96 year old father that is in a wheel chair. They have so much turn over in staff its unbelievable.
