The facilities are nice, but my relative who is wheelchair bound often has very long wait times to go to the toilet, get transferred from bed to chair, etc. The aid/attendant staff has constant turnover, and I watched one two days ago unsafely transfer my relative. This has been going on since December 2019. This is being written February 18, 2020. I will update it if/when things get better. On the weekends, they often only have 2 aid/attendant staff for three floors, and maybe 75 residents(?). There are no state regulations regarding specific ratios, so, this is legal. There has been a complete turn over of administration since December, even the head nurse has left. There is only an assistant manager until they hire a full time one (they've had since November to find a replacement when the last one put in his notice). We have contacted corporate regarding the wait times and they said they are working on it. This is corporate senior health care. Make no mistake. Once one of your parents are here (the facilities do look nice) it's really difficult to move them.

My aunt fell in her room on September 4 and cracked her skull. We found her unconscious and rushed her to the hospital. She never regained consciousness and died on September 12 of a massive brain bleed. No one at the facility even noticed! Alan Sheldon

Excellent facility! They take great care of my grandma and have fun events throughout the year for the residents.

My parents have lived at Brookdale for 6 months, and we are all extremely happy with this beautiful residence. Within the first few days, all the employees knew their names, and they had many opportunities to meet other residents. They enjoy the many activities and outings and also the beautiful spaces within Brookdale. But the best part about Brookdale are the people who work there. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the aides, kitchen employees, and everyone else, including the director and most especially the activities directors, we love them all. We highly recommend looking into Brookdale if you have a loved one who is in need of assisted living. We are so very glad we did!
